Why it is quiet
Small on purpose.
Most Florida parks measure success in pads. Twenty-nine sites on sixteen acres means space between rigs, shade over most of them, and a loop you can walk before coffee. Guests say the same word more than any other: quiet.
- Live oaks and pine. Shade over the majority of sites, which matters more in April than most people expect.
- Flying Eagle Preserve on the boundary. You are not backing onto a highway. You are backing onto thousands of acres of protected marsh and hammock.
- A pond, a pool and a walking loop. Enough to do without anything organised happening.

Before you book
The things people ring up to ask.
What is the road in like?
There is a stretch of dirt road before you reach us. It is passable in a full-size rig and people do it every day, but it is not asphalt and we would rather you heard that from us than found out at the turn.
How big a rig can you take?
Up to 45 feet. The Lake View Premium sites are the ones to ask about if you are at the top of that range.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, on a leash, with no breed or size limits. There is a pet area, and there are farm animals on the property that a lot of guests come to say hello to.
What does it cost?
Rates depend on the site and how long you are staying, and the third-party listing sites are not always current. Call (352) 419-5308 and you will get the real number for your dates.
Can I run a generator?
No. Every site has full hookups, so there is no need, and it keeps the park quiet.
Are the bathrooms and showers open?
The bathhouse has been undergoing upgrades. Ask when you call and we will tell you exactly where that stands for your dates rather than promise you something.
Reserve
The winter sites go first.
Twenty-nine sites is not many, and the same people come back every season. If you know your dates, call.
